Retreats

JULY 16 – JULY 22, 2011
Yoga and Ceremony retreat
with Heather Tiddens & Cheri Clampett

Saturday, JuLy 16 – Friday, July 22, 2011
at the Blacktail Ranch, Wolf Creek, Montana

Heather and Cheri invite you to immerse yourself in a healing and transformational week of yoga and ceremony. The Blacktail Ranch is an 8,000 acre jewel of wild beauty along the Dearborn River at the base of the Continental Divide. It is here on this magical land that we weave together yoga, chanting, meditation, nutrition, writing and process work, council circle, vision quest, and sweat lodge ceremony.
Each morning, we meet in the southwestern style Hogan, our comfortable and spacious yoga room with sweeping views of the mountains, for chanting, meditation, and yin and yang yoga asana intensives. Each afternoon, and during occasional evening sessions, we will gather to further open doors to your inner exploration with writing and process work, experiential exercises, and a nurturing Therapeutic Yoga practice.
Our week culminates with the Vision Quest and Sweat Lodge ceremonies: a day and night of fasting, vision quest on the land, and cleansing and renewal in the Sweat Lodge.  Men, women and yoga practitioners of all levels are welcome.

Tuition and Accomodation options:
$1599: dormitory style rooms, shared baths and a few semi-private spaces available, please inquire.

Travel arrangements:
Fly into Great Falls, MT.  United, Delta and Alaska are usually the best options for lower fares.  Our retreat begins with our opening ceremony at 7:30pm, so for flights arriving in the late evening , we ask that you fly in July 15 and spend the night in Great Falls.  Both the Heritage Inn (406)761-1900 and The O'Hara Hotel (406)454-2141 offer discounts for Blacktail Ranch programs, and have free shuttles to and from the airport. The Blacktail Ranch shuttle will pick you up at the airport July 16. It costs $50 each way, and makes a couple runs on arrival day. We will be organizing the shuttle times based on participant's arrivals, so we'll need to know your flight times once you book them.

Check out time on July 22 is by 11:00am, please plan accordingly.  Depending on participant's morning flight departure times, there will be two or three Blacktail shuttle trips that morning (starting very early if needed).

Cheri Clampett, E-RYT, is co-author of The Therapeutic Yoga Kit and Founder and Director of the Therapeutic Yoga Training Program.  She teaches Therapeutic Yoga at hospitals, wellness and yoga centers worldwide, including the Cancer Center of Santa Barbara and lives in California.  For more information, visit: www.therapeuticyoga.com.
